五谷, pronounced U-gu in English, represents five kinds of grains in Asian food-rice, wheats, beans, corns, and flours. They are the essential ingredients that compose people’s day to day lives. In addition,an old Chinese idiom,五谷豐登, a bumper grain harvest, indicates the happiness people gain from a sufficient harvest of these five kinds. While in Ugu, we pick these fundamental ingredients carefully, treat them well, and serve them with good flavors in hope of bringing happiness and health to our dear customers. Enjoy!

Mostly fresh fishes, especially the fatty ones. The fatty ones are very buttery in texture. The lunch menu is different from the sushi menu but you can still ask for and order from the sushi menu. The preparation and presentation of their sushi pieces is very nice.
